RogerATC1.0 beta

RogerATC AI 1.0 beta — the first public beta

  • NewFirst public beta of RogerATC AI: an AI air traffic controller for X-Plane 12 that you talk to by voice, in English or Spanish, plus a virtual instructor on the intercom.
  • NewFree during the beta.
  • NewInstallers for macOS and Windows. RogerATC Setup installs the plugin and walks you through the first configuration.
  • NewAutomatic updates: each time X-Plane starts, RogerATC tells you when a new version is out and, if you say yes, downloads and installs it for you as soon as you close X-Plane.
  • NewA Copilot EFB account is required: it is where you sign in and link the plugin to your account.
  • NewYour AI provider keys are managed in Copilot EFB settings, and the plugin's usage statistics are shown there too.
  • ImprovedSettings and credentials are stored the way each operating system expects, including the Windows Credential Manager.
Copilot EFB1.0 beta

Copilot EFB 1.0 beta

  • NewFree during the beta.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — IFR practice from Copilot EFB

  • NewAn instructor on Copilot EFB can now ask the controller for IFR instructions: approach clearances of every kind (ILS including CAT II/III, GLS, localizer and back course, VOR, NDB, TACAN, RNAV, RNP, PAR, SRA, visual and contact).
  • NewRadar vectors, circling, side-step, missed approach, SID, STAR and omnidirectional departures, bearings to or from a station, direct to a fix and diversion to another aerodrome.
  • NewRadar talk-down: on an SRA or PAR the controller talks you down mile by mile from your actual position — altitude, centreline and glide path, gear check at four miles and "approach completed" at the end.
  • NewProcedures are requested by type and fix, and found in your own X-Plane navigation data. If your data does not publish one, the controller refuses instead of making it up.
  • ImprovedHolds gain a DME leg, an entry (direct, parallel or offset) and an expect-further-clearance time; course reversals now include the base turn and the racetrack.
  • ImprovedProcedure designators are spoken in plain words, the way a controller says them.
  • FixedNDB frequencies were spoken like VHF frequencies ("zero decimal three five") — they are now said in kilohertz.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — shared plannings live, airways with limits, IFR console

  • NewA planning shared with a copilot updates live on both maps, with each pilot named and coloured; only the owner can end it.
  • NewAirways show their direction, distances, limits and minimum levels where the AIP publishes them clearly.
  • NewAirspace drawn from openAIP with labels and vertical limits; tap to see the whole stack. A contrast option for dark and light maps.
  • NewGPX import and export for plannings.
  • NewWeather along the route: METAR and TAF for each aerodrome, and a winds-aloft cross-section with headwind or tailwind per leg.
  • NewRogerATC console: every IFR instruction an instructor teaches — approaches, holds with computed entry, vectors, SID/STAR, missed approach, diversion — grouped by phase of flight.
  • ImprovedA rewritten welcome tour, and a dismissible reminder to install the app and turn on notifications.
  • FixedA leg added by your copilot could disappear from the other map even though the notification arrived — fixed.
  • FixedThe administration account list could load forever after an error — it now offers Retry.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — airways over Argentina, and planning with a copilot

  • NewLower and upper airways over Argentina from the AIP, as map layers with tappable significant points.
  • New"Leave by airway" adds every published point to the exit, and the flight plan files it as entry, airway, exit.
  • NewPlan together with a copilot: both see and edit the route, each in their own aircraft, and every change is logged with who and when.
  • NewThe owner's map connections can be lent to the copilot for that planning only, without the copilot ever seeing the owner's keys.
  • ImprovedEdits made offline are kept and sent when you are back online.
  • FixedSearching for a VOR that shares its code with an aerodrome found the aerodrome instead — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — the live link with Copilot EFB

  • NewOptional live link (off by default): an instructor watching your flight on Copilot EFB can send instructions, and the controller says them on COM1 for you to read back like any other.
  • NewHolding, course reversals, radials, DME arcs, headings, levels, squawk, frequency changes, reports, circuit instructions, landing, touch-and-go, low approach, take-off, go-around, hold position and QNH.
  • ImprovedEvery instruction is checked against your own simulator data and refused with a reason when it does not fit — an unknown station, a VOR without DME, a take-off clearance while airborne.
  • ImprovedOnly your position and flight state are shared, never navigation data, and instructions are held back while the sim is paused or during an emergency.
  • FixedThe session summary never reached Copilot EFB when X-Plane closed — it is now saved first and sent reliably.
  • FixedA flight plan filed in Copilot EFB was never read by the plugin — fixed.
  • FixedSpanish downwind joins said "tramo" twice — fixed.
  • FixedAfter a runway change, the tower left out the new taxi instruction for aircraft already taxiing — fixed.
  • FixedClosing X-Plane while RogerATC was still loading could leave it hanging — it now exits promptly.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — planning on the map, and declination where you are

  • NewTap aerodromes on the map to build a route leg by leg, with a card per leg: heading, distance, time and fuel against your aircraft and the fuel on board.
  • NewWinds aloft per leg from the forecast, a wind you type, or none — always stated.
  • NewThe route sheet and the EANA flight plan are made from the planning, directly or with the assistant.
  • NewFull-screen map with the planning panel over it.
  • ImprovedMagnetic declination is now calculated at each place with the World Magnetic Model, instead of one fixed value for the whole country. A manual value is still available.
  • FixedSecurity hardening for shared and imported routes, messages and the mail server check.
  • FixedAn edit could be lost on a device whose clock ran fast, and the map rebuilt every layer on every GPS fix — fixed.
  • FixedA date or time picked from the phone's picker did not show in the field — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — RogerATC live console and runway wind components

  • NewRogerATC live console: see the plugin's state every couple of seconds — aircraft, position on a map, nearby VOR/DME/NDB with radial, QDM and distance, and the transcript.
  • NewSend instructions to the simulated tower — holding, course reversals, radials, DME arc, heading, altitude, squawk, frequency, reports, circuit, landing, go-around — and see what the controller said or why it refused.
  • NewRunway wind components calculator: headwind, crosswind and tailwind for each runway, including gusts and variable wind, with the worst case and the rule of sixths shown.
  • ImprovedThe crosswind is compared with your aircraft's demonstrated crosswind and, if you set one, your personal limit.
  • ImprovedThe RogerATC screen reads in one column at every width.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — resilience

  • NewA Resilience section with breathing and concentration exercises, each backed by the studies behind it, in a full-screen player.
  • ImprovedEach exercise says whether it can be done in flight with eyes open or only on the ground.
  • NewAfter a flight, rate how each phase felt and see patterns over time. The assistant can read the summary, but never diagnoses.
  • FixedAn edit made while the previous version was syncing could be lost — fixed.
  • FixedAfter 9 p.m. in Argentina the assistant's "tomorrow" was a day late in the flight plan date — fixed.
  • FixedFixes to 12-hour time entry, date fields and logbook totals.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — dates, clocks and a logbook that adds up

  • NewSettings → Date and time: the date format and 12/24-hour clock now apply to every date and time in the app.
  • FixedThe logbook's two totals disagreed. Now each line has one figure in decimal hours, and the breakdowns always add up to the total.
  • NewLogbook filters by period, registration, aerodrome, kind, day or night and role, with totals shown as tiles.
  • ImprovedTapping a logbook flight opens it read-only; editing is a separate step.
  • ImprovedOn phones the bottom bar hides while the keyboard is up and on the assistant.
  • NewAdministrators see how many pilots hold each aircraft and aerodrome.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — calculators, messages and a manual in the app

  • NewDensity altitude and take-off distance calculator, scaling your POH figure — never inventing one.
  • NewRead aircraft manuals inside the app, with zoom, offline.
  • NewMessages between copilots, with a notification; administrators can write to one pilot or to everyone.
  • ImprovedThe Update button shows how far the download has got, as a measured percentage.
  • FixedAn aerodrome entered by its national or IATA code (for example FDO for San Fernando) was not recognised on the route sheet, map, weather or assistant — fixed.
  • FixedThe assistant read the cruising-level table by the wrong columns; VFR controlado now uses the IFR levels.
  • ImprovedField 15 ends with DCT, QNH is shown in both units, and the route sheet is redrawn to fit everything.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — field 15 as chips, a printable route, and help

  • FixedText you were typing could vanish when the app synced in the background — fixed.
  • NewField 15 is edited as chips you can drag to reorder, with DCT shown between points.
  • NewA route sheet on one printable page: legs, times, frequencies of the alternates and the favoured runway.
  • NewA data sheet per aircraft, on one page.
  • NewA welcome tour and a Help and feedback option in the account menu.
  • ImprovedAerodrome cards show their position on a map, and the signature belongs to each flight plan.
  • ImprovedThe app scrolls inside itself, so the bottom bar stays put on phones.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — confirm before deleting, and a past plan that locks

  • ImprovedEvery delete now asks first and says what is about to go.
  • ImprovedThe dashboard's first-run panel is the app's setup, not a flight checklist.
  • NewA plan whose flight is over is locked; its form can still be viewed, downloaded and shared.
  • FixedThe assistant made field 18 mistakes on a real plan, filed "tomorrow" with the wrong date, refused a plain cruise speed and did not recognise five-letter fixes — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — shares as copies, and fields with no ICAO indicator

  • ImprovedA share is now a separate copy on each side.
  • NewA flight plan can be filed to an aerodrome with no ICAO indicator, as most of Argentina's are.
  • NewThe assistant can edit an existing plan, asks with typed form controls, and offers "Fix it with the assistant" on plan errors.
  • NewThe assistant reads your logbook hours before asking.
  • ImprovedFlight plan checks added after review against what the authority actually accepts.
  • ImprovedThe Spanish text uses one consistent voice on every screen.
  • FixedRemoving an aerodrome from Weather cleared your home base, and the selected aircraft did not follow your account — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — forms that save themselves, and a sharper assistant

  • NewEvery form saves itself, offline included.
  • NewThe assistant looks at your earlier flights and offers the same route, remembers what you agree on, and stays on aviation.
  • NewAircraft manuals, documents and photos attached to each aircraft.
  • NewNew weather sources: MET Norway and VATSIM METAR, and adsb.lol for traffic.
  • ImprovedOne chosen source per kind of data, read the same way by every screen.
  • FixedThe app would not open without signal after an update — fixed, and a missing offline copy is now detected and repaired.
  • FixedLogbook times now fall on the entry's date, choosing an aircraft fills its make, model and power, and new lines never duplicate.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — filing the flight plan

  • NewPlans show as filed once sent and as expired after the flight, instead of draft forever.
  • NewThe assistant can explain any NOTAM.
  • NewThe covering email follows the ARO's format, and the filing address comes from the destination's card.
  • NewAircraft colours and markings fill field 19 automatically, and field 18 has defaults.
  • ImprovedThe EANA form layout matches the official boxes, and the signature is redrawn in black ink.
  • Fixed"Update" could spin forever — fixed.
  • NewChange your name, email and password from inside the app, with a home-screen install guide.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — aerodrome cards, checklists and offline readiness

  • NewAerodrome cards take attachments (diagrams, procedures, photos), radio and visual aids, and oils and additives.
  • NewCompleteness bars show how filled-in each record is; favourites are listed first.
  • NewRun all of an aircraft's checklists as one flight record, and import lists from another aircraft.
  • NewThe sync button now prepares the device for a flight with no signal, and icons work offline.
  • ImprovedNOTAMs are listed newest first, and a share to a copilot carries the sender's NOTAMs, METAR and TAF.
  • ImprovedThe map follows the app's theme, a single checklist can be shared, notes open to read, and the help was rewritten.
  • FixedThe runway designator field would not take a slash, and the data-age badge was not translated — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — the operations a pilot actually has

  • NewFlight plans on the frequency: file one by radio, confirm, amend and close it.
  • NewPushback, facing the right way for your stand and the runway in use; de-icing requests; power-back is refused.
  • NewRunway crossings, and requests held for traffic: "hold short, traffic on final, I'll call you" — then the call when it has landed.
  • NewGo-arounds both ways — reported by you or ordered by the tower — and traffic called unprompted when another aircraft gets close.
  • NewZone transits, special VFR, level and position reports, and weather deviations.
  • NewInstrument approaches cleared only when your own navigation data publishes them; otherwise the controller offers what is published.
  • NewWeather on request: QNH (confirmed or corrected), wind and gusts, runway condition, and another aerodrome's METAR.
  • NewPAN PAN, minimum fuel and priority handled as the rules say — minimum fuel gets "no delay expected", not priority.
  • NewThe runway in use changes when the wind does, and a QNH change is announced.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — regional phraseology and the Copilot EFB link

  • NewTwelve phraseology regions — eleven Spanish-speaking countries and the United States — chosen automatically from the aerodrome you are at. Crossing a border changes the wording without a restart.
  • NewStation names follow each country: Rodaje or Superficie in Argentina, Control Terrestre in Chile, and no ground station in Uruguay, where the tower handles it.
  • ImprovedSpanish phrases corrected against official sources: "ida al aire" for a go-around, "mantenga fuera de pista", "cruce pista… notifique pista libre", "contacte", and "básico" for the base leg. The old wording is still understood.
  • NewOptional Copilot EFB link: your filed flight plan, aircraft profile and frequencies can come from your EFB, and a session summary can be sent back. Off by default.
  • NewX-Plane's own approach and area control units, reporting points and published approaches are now read from your installation.
  • ImprovedClearances can take runway friction, gusts and the cloud ceiling into account.
  • FixedA missing ceiling could be read as a clear sky when deciding on special VFR — an unknown value is now treated as unknown.
  • FixedA three-letter Argentine aerodrome code could be mistaken for a Spanish ICAO prefix — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — a public API, RogerATC sessions and a new icon

  • NewA read-only public API with a personal key and usage statistics in Settings.
  • NewSessions flown with the RogerATC AI plugin can be received and shown in the app.
  • NewAerodrome cards hold taxiways and the fuel available.
  • NewThe assistant can update your aircraft and aerodrome cards with what you tell it.
  • NewImport a route from a .fpl file (ForeFlight, Garmin).
  • ImprovedThe installed app is named "Copilot EFB", and Android's share sheet can send files to it.
  • FixedSettings changed on one device did not reach the others — fixed, along with several sync issues.
  • ImprovedA new app icon — a halo and a light aircraft — animated on the launch screen.
  • NewNotifications show a proper badge.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — MADHEL, and filed plans on the map

  • NewThe MADHEL is fetched from ANAC for each aerodrome.
  • NewThe map draws a filed flight plan, naming any point it cannot place.
  • ImprovedThe logbook is one button, and the hours add themselves up.
  • ImprovedEvery Settings card has help.
  • FixedA row of buttons broke only in Spanish — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — every Argentine aerodrome

  • FixedMost Argentine aerodromes without an ICAO indicator were missing from the database — they are now included and watched for weather.
  • FixedThe aerodrome picker could silently drop your selection — fixed.
  • ImprovedThe assistant's text box gets its own line, and every text area grows as you type.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — notes, route help and checklists

  • ImprovedNotes can be written by keyboard, dictation or handwriting wherever they are offered, and the handwriting pad opens full screen.
  • ImprovedEvery aerodrome field accepts a code or a name.
  • NewThe assistant suggests a route with direct track, distance and cruising levels, and finds published VORs and points along it.
  • ImprovedThe logbook no longer records a GPS track: it keeps hours, where the flight went and how the time splits.
  • FixedDictation could not get microphone access — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — the pilot's record

  • NewThe logbook follows ANAC's own sheet, with cross-country and local time, simulator time and instrument time.
  • NewA pilot profile with licences, ratings and medical, from catalogues rather than free text.
  • NewA mosaic dashboard, and tablets may follow their own rotation.
  • NewAn assistant answer can be kept as a note or sent.
  • ImprovedHandwriting is now kept as an image instead of being converted to text, so nothing can be misread.
  • FixedThe signature was drawn in white on the dark theme — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — the aviation assistant

  • NewA full-screen aviation assistant and flight-planning agent, using your own key for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or OpenRouter, called directly from your device.
  • NewIt asks with form controls, renders formatted answers, offers the flight plan when it planned one, and can look things up on the web.
  • NewThree codes per aerodrome — ICAO, IATA and national — searchable everywhere, plus a worldwide index of large and medium aerodromes.
  • NewFlight plans export to ForeFlight/Garmin .fpl, X-Plane .fms and MSFS.
  • ImprovedThe briefing refreshes hourly, and a new plan can reuse the last one's standing details.
  • FixedRestoring a backup failed — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — departures and arrivals on a radio aid

  • NewThe controller sometimes sends you out on a radial, around a DME arc or through a course reversal, or brings you in on a radial — always with the reason said out loud.
  • ImprovedBuilt only from VORs in your own X-Plane data. A station without DME is never asked for a distance, and aerodromes with no VOR nearby get no procedure.
  • NewAsk "which radial do I depart on?" and you get an answer from the navigation data.
  • FixedVOR frequencies were in your navigation data but neither the controller nor the instructor could see them — now they answer with the frequency, distance, radial and whether there is DME.
  • FixedAsking which radial to use for arrival was answered with a landing clearance — fixed.
  • NewThe instructor can tell you how far out to start your descent on a three-degree path and the rate that holds it.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — who is speaking, and the wait before they do

  • NewA short tone while your answer is being prepared: a blip for the controller, a two-note chime for the instructor. It can be turned off in Settings.
  • FixedGround answered as "Tower" on its own frequency — fixed.
  • FixedChanging to the tower did not count as a first contact. Now a station you have not spoken to introduces itself and greets you, and the greeting follows the local clock rather than the sun.
  • ImprovedA correct readback is now answered "readback correct" instead of silence — only when it really matched what was said.
  • NewSome simulated traffic now uses foreign registrations and speaks English on the frequency, as at a real international aerodrome.
  • ImprovedFaster speech recognition — about 1.2 seconds less wait on every transmission.
  • FixedThe same airspace was announced three times on one flight — it is now said once.
  • FixedRequests like "with intentions to land on runway 05" or a touch-and-go request were answered "say again", and repeats could stack ("I say again, I say again…") — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — the instructor knows your aircraft

  • NewThe instructor answers with your own numbers: your pivotal altitude right now, and for steep turns the load factor, turn radius, standard-rate bank and stall speed in the turn.
  • NewTell the instructor "remember this" and it keeps the point in a notes file you own and can edit.
  • NewThe instructor can look up regulations and references, restricted to a fixed list of aviation authorities, and names the source.
  • NewA world reference of over 30,000 aerodromes answers questions about fields that are not in your installation, clearly labelled as reference, not simulator data.
  • ImprovedEvery Argentine aerodrome is pronounced the way it is said on the radio.
  • FixedThe instructor sometimes said it could not search or had no data while holding the answer — it is now caught and corrected.
  • ImprovedThe instructor is now as loud as the controller.
  • FixedA question to the instructor could be answered by the tower if the intercom key got stuck — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — fewer "say again"

  • FixedAn aircraft stopped at the holding point could be cleared to land, and one climbing away could be cleared to land a second after rotating — fixed.
  • ImprovedCircuit position reports are understood in all the ways pilots say them ("established on final", "on base for runway 05"), and checked against where you actually are.
  • NewArrival reports (altitude, distance and direction), overhead, approaching, passing and abeam a landmark are understood.
  • ImprovedA position report is answered like a controller would: overhead gets the join, downwind is asked to report base, base to report final.
  • FixedReporting clear of the runway, leaving the frequency, a goodbye, a request for IFR and a vague request now get the right answer instead of "say again".
  • FixedAsking for a frequency was refused even when it was known, and a request to be put through to a nearby tower was refused for lack of a UNICOM — fixed.
  • FixedAsking for traffic information could freeze RogerATC — fixed.
  • FixedA callsign lost its digits in some answers, a nearby aerodrome's name could be matched to one in another country, and the ATIS read visibility as a five-digit number — fixed.
  • FixedAn aircraft parked on its stand could be cleared for take-off after wrongly reporting the holding point — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — traffic, airspace and real-world data

  • NewTraffic information from the simulator's own traffic, the way a controller gives it: clock position, distance, direction and height.
  • NewGround vehicles on the surface frequency, crossing real taxiways at your aerodrome.
  • NewThe controller tells you when you enter airspace that needs a clearance and when you cross the transition altitude.
  • NewOptional services with your own keys: current airspace from openAIP, winds aloft from Windy, and real-world traffic density from Flightradar24 so the frequency sounds as busy as the real place.
  • NewThe instructor explains sixteen manoeuvres — pivotal altitude, DME arc, holding entries, engine failure, steep turns, slow flight, chandelle, lazy eight and more.
  • ImprovedSpanish phraseology corrected: taxi is an instruction ("ruede a punto de espera"), start-up is "aprobado", and the take-off clearance gives runway, clearance, then wind.
  • ImprovedICAO codes, frequencies, flight levels and acronyms like ILS and QNH are spoken correctly.
  • FixedPush-to-talk stopped responding after arriving at an aerodrome — fixed.
  • FixedA taxi request at an aerodrome with no taxiway network got no answer, asking for traffic returned the ATIS, and an emergency on the ground was handled like one in the air — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — administration and map keys

  • NewAn administration section for managing accounts.
  • ImprovedPhones stay in portrait, and the bottom bar spans the screen.
  • FixedThe base map showed "API key required" after the provider changed its terms — it now uses your own key, set in Settings with a link to get one.
  • FixedThe airspace layer did not turn on with an openAIP key already set, and disappeared at high zoom — fixed.
  • FixedLogbook fixes, weather decoding fixes and backend hardening.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — position checks and the transponder

  • NewThe controller checks your position report against where the aircraft really is, and corrects it with "negative" and the right answer.
  • NewIf it needs your position before a taxi or departure, it asks once — and then answers your original request.
  • NewA squawk code on every departure, then watched: wrong code, transponder off on the runway, IDENT acknowledged, and the radio-failure and emergency codes handled.
  • NewPressing push-to-talk interrupts whatever is playing, as on a real half-duplex radio.
  • NewOptional on-screen overlay showing what RogerATC is doing right now.
  • ImprovedBetter voices for the controller and the instructor, a more natural controller pace, and shorter instructor answers.
  • ImprovedUnderstood: a call packed with several items, "ready" at the holding point, radio checks, "say again", acknowledgements and requests to join the circuit.
  • FixedThe wrong station sometimes answered — now the station you call is the one that replies.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — real NOTAMs and notifications

  • NewReal NOTAMs from ANAC's AIS for Argentine aerodromes.
  • NewA notification centre, synced across devices, and push notifications that arrive even when the app is closed.
  • NewWindy and Flightradar24 as optional data sources, and one chosen source per kind of data.
  • NewThe app moved to its own address, copilot.rogeratc.app.
  • FixedWhat you just wrote is now pushed right away instead of waiting until you came back to the app.
  • FixedLayout fixes on phones.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — a living frequency, and an instructor in the right seat

  • NewThe tower speaks first when a real one would: number in sequence on downwind, landing clearance on final, hold position on an unauthorised runway entry, contact ground after vacating.
  • NewOther aircraft on the frequency, with their own voices, so it sounds like a working aerodrome. They are never presented as traffic you must avoid.
  • NewVirtual instructor, first version: alerts for overspeed, stall, high sink rate, gear up on final and more; scored drills such as steep turns, slow flight and holding; and spoken answers on the intercom.
  • NewOption to run the language model locally with Ollama, and common calls are understood instantly without any model.
  • NewReal METAR and TAF, fetched ahead for the aerodromes around you and along your track.
  • FixedSpanish sessions were described to the language model as English — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — settings in the cloud, and copilots

  • NewSettings sync across your devices.
  • NewCopilots: invite by email and share flight plans, aircraft, checklists and aerodrome cards, with personal details removed.
  • NewThe flight plan reads its aerodromes as you type them, with their weather and NOTAM status.
  • ImprovedA full-screen update dialog on phones, and a version card in Settings.
  • FixedShared items no longer duplicate, and deleting or resetting an account leaves nothing behind.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — the EANA flight plan form, aerodrome cards and flight notes

  • NewThe flight plan is the EANA form itself, not a representation of it.
  • NewSend flight plans from your own email account, with contacts held per aerodrome.
  • NewAerodrome cards with frequencies, runways, VOR and contacts, prefilled where public data allows.
  • NewEach pilot has their own data on a shared device, and a handwriting pad for notes.
  • NewA graphic weather strip on every aerodrome, folding lists, and help on every widget and calculator.
  • FixedThe app showed OFFLINE with a perfect connection, aerodrome cards did not save, and the flight plan validator warned in English — fixed.
  • ImprovedA full backup now really contains everything.
  • NewFlight notes, a kneeboard synced across your devices.
  • FixedWidget titles and data ages showed in English on a Spanish device — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — a window in X-Plane, and a controller that remembers

  • NewA RogerATC window inside X-Plane with About, Settings and Diagnostics.
  • NewYour AI key is entered in a secure prompt and stored in the system keychain; the plugin itself never handles it.
  • NewThe controller remembers each station's conversation: it greets you once, by time of day, and stops repeating what you already have.
  • NewThe ATIS can read the real weather report X-Plane has already downloaded.
  • ImprovedSettings are saved between sessions.
  • FixedThe settings window drew dark text on a dark panel — fixed.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — the first voice contact

  • NewEnd to end for the first time: press push-to-talk, speak, and hear the controller on COM1 with a VHF radio effect.
  • NewTaxi instructions routed over your own scenery's taxiways, holding short of every runway crossed.
  • NewATIS from the simulator's weather, start-up approval, route clearance with a squawk code, and take-off and landing clearances.
  • NewReadback checking: a wrong readback is corrected with the right value.
  • ImprovedA repeated answer is announced as a repeat, and the controller remembers the last exchanges.
  • ImprovedThe ICAO alphabet uses Annex 10 spellings — Alfa, Juliett, Xray — in both languages.
  • FixedA declared emergency was answered with silence — it is now always acknowledged.
  • FixedCalm wind was read as "zero zero zero degrees zero knots" — it is now "wind calm".
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — reading your simulator

  • NewAerodromes, runways and taxiways are read from your own X-Plane installation, honouring custom scenery the same way X-Plane does.
  • NewRunway in use chosen from the wind; procedures, navaids, airspace and weather read from your data.
  • NewAn updated navigation database you installed yourself is used in preference to the default one, with a single notice if your data is very old.
  • NewPush-to-talk commands you can bind to a key, yoke or joystick button.
  • NewRogerATC takes over X-Plane's built-in ATC, and stays out of the way when another radio client is connected to an online network.
RogerATCDevelopment

Development — project start

  • NewDevelopment of RogerATC AI begins, with a validation sprint on a real X-Plane 12 installation.
  • NewThe first plugin build loads in X-Plane and reports what the simulator is doing.
  • FixedRadio frequency units and traffic counts read from the simulator corrected.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — accounts, sync and two languages

  • NewAccounts, with your data synced across devices.
  • NewThe whole app in Spanish and English.
  • NewA bundled aerodrome and runway database.
  • ImprovedRedrawn wind rose and windsock, and a second pass over the interface.
  • FixedThe update button, removing an aerodrome from Weather, and account reset — fixed.
Copilot EFBDevelopment

Development — first build
